    Private practice of Registered Dietitians & Diabetes Prevention Health Coaches with offices across Allegheny County. Virtual & in-person services available.

    Registered Dietitians support adults and children with topics ranging from disordered eating and chronic disease to perinatal nutrition and athletic performance. Our approach to supporting someone’s health through nutrition is specific to the person, their needs, and their lifestyle because each person deserves personalized guidance.

    We teach the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and are recognized by the CDC for our program’s retention & outcomes. The program is taught virtually with a dedicated coach and provides group accountability using the CDC’s certified curriculum.

    CSN accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance. However, insurance coverage varies from plan to plan. We check insurance prior to scheduling for each person to help provide transparent information on insurance eligibility and any potential out of pocket costs.

    The CDHA is a conglomerate of local organizations joined together to form a “super team” to provide resources and aid in the fight against chronic disease.

    The McKeesport Regional History and Heritage Center, founded in 1980, is equal parts museum, research facility, repository, and community center for all citizens of the Mon Valley.

    We strive to preserve the history of our region and engage our community through educational and fun programs and events. Our museum is free to access and our genealogical research resources are available in-person or via contract for a fee.

    Leetsdale Borough

    Leetsdale Borough passed a Live Well Allegheny resolution in February 2018. The Borough adopted an ordinance and has signage creating tobacco-free zones at the designated local parks and playgrounds. There is a Leetsdale Food Bank that is operated by the Mayor and his wife. The Leetsdale 4th of July Committee hosts an annual Snow Flake 5K Run/Walk for all ages. There are two Leetsdale Gardening Clubs that keep our open spaces full of flowers and plants.

    MEE’s unique community-engagement framework and methodologies were used to develop the “United Against COVID,” targeted community-engagement campaign for Allegheny County, launched in 2021 and transitioning into support for the County’s REACH grant from CDC.
