We offer a wide range of tools on our website to help doctors communicate and people to understand their care. We free on-site training in plain language, shared decision making, and teach-back to health care providers. We host community learning forums on special topics, where our partners share their experience, learn from one another, and discuss big ideas. We lead some exciting projects that look at how communities and community members can be more active in shaping how health information is shared. We also give talks to community groups on topics like “asking good questions for good health,” “how and where to find safe health info online,” and “does my health insurance cover that?”
